I have been a fan of the way Stormhoek marketes their wine - no secret about that. FYI they know how to use cyberspace to get themselves out there - and who can forget the free wime at 27 dinners?
This time around they have teamed up with Barrington's to bring wine that you can't JUST GET sommer just like that. Looks like Christmas does start in October (sometimes)!
Read all about the foxy plan by Stormhoek has devised this time around.

Back from Europe and thanking the politicians in SA...
Today I'm taking the time to thank the American banking crisis and South Africa's stupid politicians for helping the Rand jump down a ravine so I can get a fantastic rate at the Forex office selling my foreign notes.
I would also like to thank the ANC for the graceful politics these last few weeks. Not only have you succeeded to get rid of Mbeki and gotten in some unknown person, but you have also made sure that Zuma walks away from all charges. I would have taken my hat off, but I'm too scared that someone would steal it if I do. So anyway, good work, keep it up!
I love coming back and having to look over my shoulder again. I must admit that I felt safe in the 12 countries I visited, but in my own country I'm too scared to walk from my car to my front door. I only walked about 20km a day while abroad...
We might not have bright politicians, a strong currency or safe living conditions - but at least we have sunshine.

Ag please...
I really don't get why little people that were graced with the honor of playing for a team like the Springboks suddenly have such over-inflated egos and think that they should try get more attention by trying to be controversial.
Luke, if you hate the Springbok so much, go play for some other team in another country. We don't need to change the Springbok emblem - we just need to change the person that will wear your jersey to someone that will do it with pride.
My 10c worth is that we have enough talented players that will give anything to wear that Springbok on their chest with pride, we don't need sour apples.
