Excessive sentence (for rapists)?

Once again, IOL had this article.

WHAT? There is something like an excessive sentence for a rapist? BULLTWANG.

Obviously it must have been a man that came up with something like that... right? According to me, if you rape a woman / man / child you should be thrown in jail for life and be castrated. (CHOP CHOP) Then it won't bug you anymore and you won't be able to rape anyone ever again.

Rape ruins lifes. Why should a criminal not pay a dear price for ruining somebody's life? We should not feel sorry for criminals and pat them on their backs saying, "don't worry, everything will be ok." Rapists do not deserve freedom or pity.

Racism - it only becomes an issue when attention is paid

According to an article on IOL some people obviously said some bad things in public.

And this I particularly enjoyed "SA Rugby said on Tuesday that it would embark on an anti-racism campaign to educate fans." I hope is more successful than the AIDS campaign.

My opinion on the matter - racism is only an issue if it is in the press, the rest of us live (mostly) in harmony. Stop trying to shove down racism, BEE and affirmative action in our throats... I really don't have time for nonsense like this.

BTW... you know why racism is such an "issue"? Because of things like affirmative action. Employ the best person for the job - it should not matter if they are white, black or brown.
