The highs and lows of South Africa's 2010 Soccer World Cup dreams - When life hands you lemons, bring out the Tequila and party.

FIFA handed South Africa the 2010 "lemon" and now we just have to put our heads down and get things done before those Australians get to laugh at this nation for not being able to host a little tournament.

Did South Africa not host the 1995 Rugby World Cup - and win it? That after no warning? Building a stadium is a little more difficult than building a townhouse complex, but damn, how can a townhouse complex be build in 6 months and a stadium not in 4 years? So, don't tell me that South Africa can't handle hosting 2010.

PS. If the world loves employing South Africans because we are such hard workers, why can't those building the stadiums stop their toyi-toying and just do the job they get paid for?

We can host 2010 and show those damn yapping Australians that we can do it!
